Cutting Health Insurance Premiums in Half
Lisa just called into our office, she found our number on a letter she got in the mail. Earlier this week, she was looking at her Blue Cross Blue Sheild renewal and just broke down because she knew that she would not be able to pay the premium, but she suffers from MS and needs to have access to affordable care. While reviewing her options we discovered that her current income qualifies her for cost sharing reductions on the marketplace. The Christus Silver plan only came out to $70 a month, cutting health insurance premiums in half and reducing her deductible from over $5,000 to just $100. Lisa started to cry and expressed over and over “God bless you, you’ve made my day.”
